Dr. Anser Abbas is excited to bring his skills and experience back to Hamilton, where he lived for 4 years while attending McMaster University. Dr. Anser graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2020. He then completed a 2-year residency in Chiropractic Clinical Sciences, where his research focused on optimizing back pain care for older patients. During this time, he trained at various Toronto hospitals, gaining experience in helping patients with conditions such as chronic pain, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and spinal stenosis.
Dr. Anser is passionate about helping patients understand, manage, and conquer their pain, using individualized rehab programs. He uses hands-on techniques such as joint manipulation, myofascial release therapy, and neurofunctional acupuncture to help relieve pain.
Dr. Anser currently works in neck pain research at University Health Network and has previously been an instructor at CMCC. When not in clinic he enjoys running, playing guitar and bass, and hanging out with his foster cats.

Chiropractic is an approach to treating conditions of the spine, muscles, joints, nerves, and bones, without use of drugs, injections, or surgery. Chiropractic treatment can include various forms of manual or "hands-on" therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, lifestyle factor recommendations and self-care recommendations.
Chiropractic care can help with a variety of conditions affecting muscles, joints, and nerves; this includes back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, arthritis, tendonitis, and sports or work injuries. If you would like to know if chiropractic is right for you, we can book a free 10-minute phone call.
You do not need a doctor's referral to be seen at Crown Point Rehab.
Your first visit will be 50-60 minutes. This includes a "history", which is a conversation to get information about your pain, injury, or other concern, and a "physical examination" to assess the affected and surrounding areas. You may have to fill out some forms if these were not completed online before the appointment. We then give you a diagnosis and our recommended treatment plan. Finally, we begin treatment, including recommendations on what to do at home to manage any remaining symptoms.
Only if it is the best option for you! Spinal manipulation or "adjustments" - where you may hear a cracking or popping sound coming from your spine - are only one of the treatment options that Dr. Anser offers. Based on our assessment, this may or may not be an option that best suits you and your body's needs.
We bill directly to most insurance providers. Every insurance policy is different and the cost of your visit may not be fully covered. Please check with your insurance provider for details on your specific policy, as we are not able to access that information.
We offer a free 10-minute phone or video consultation - just click on the link at the top of the page to book.
